There are 14% fewer homes for sale vs this time last year. Is now the time to sell? It depends? According to our local Association (CTAR) President, Edward Oswald, “Sales are essentially flat because we simply don’t have sufficient inventory to support the demand we’re seeing and prices continue to drive upwards because that demand is outpacing supply.”

You may think that as a seller you have the advantage. The problem with a lack of inventory is the inflated price point we often see sellers place on their home. Because of this, buyers are often priced out of a purchase. If you are considering selling, the best thing to do is work with a trusted Realtor ® to help you price your home correctly. With proper pricing, and a little sweat equity to get your home in clean, and marketable, you stand a good chance at landing a buyer.
